Via Bariloche, long distance busses Reviews
Night bus from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú Dec 30, 2008
Travelling from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú we took a long distance bus.
“Via Bariloche” is the name of the company, and it turned out to be a very comfortable trip (more information: www.viabariloche.com.ar). We arrived a couple of hours in advance at a very busy bus station in Buenos Aires. First had to pick up the tickets (reservations in advance), then had a meal. You can also do some shopping at the bus station. The trip took 17 (yes, seventeen!) hours, but the bus was really comfortable (we had the ‘full lie down option’). They served a snack, later a dinner with wine and a nightcap: champagne or whiskey!!! The bus made a few stops to pick up or drop people, but you’ve to stay inside the vehicle the whole time. I was very much surprised how fast the time moved. Part of the Argentina - Chile - Brasil 2008/2009 travel blog |
