Cosiest place in Bergen Oct 16, 2006
The Vågen Fetevare in Bergen is located between Bryggen and the Flöibanen Entrance, the Tourist spots in Bergen. But it isn't one the expensive cafes around the harbour, it is actually a very fine place to drink a coffee or having some lunch. The interior is very student-like: painted wooden walls, chairs and couches diversing, nice corners, check-games and books everywhere. Music and audience are fine and not annoying, waiters are friendly. The whole atmosphere is cool and relaxing. A good thing to find a coffee-shop which isn't related to a big chain.
Prices are okay, a refill for a regular cup of coffee is about 14 NOK, which is reasonable for norwegian conditions.  Part of the Norway 2006 travel blog
