People i met here who contributed to, and improved my trip: After 2 weeks of blisters, i decided my feet needed a break and i'd read many good things about Lake Balaton in Hungary. Balatonfüred y la Peninsula de Tihany. Tren desde Budapest al Lago Balaton, "El Mar Húngaro" como ellos lo llaman.  Lago con 77km de largo y 14km en su parte más ancha. Parada en Balatonfüred, ciudad balneario con varios centros termales, puerto deportivo y agradable paseo al borde del lago. En la Península de Tihany, impresionante la colección de rosas que rodean a la abadía benedictina. Buenas vistas desde aquí de la otra ribera del lago.

Road trip around Hungary. We went down to the Ballaton and stayed by the Danube in Halazi. Visiting caves in aggtelek near Eger, known for its wines. They have a wine market place called the pretty lady valley, its name comes from te fact that after a few wines all the ladies look pretty... Beautiful culture to get to know,rich in history and the food is amazing! Known for their goulash, all their foods are rich in taste and the restaurants are so cheap with a huge variety on the menu!!!!
