I lived in SF for 5 years. I just recently moved to LA and wanted to visit SF.. but didn't want to impose on any of my friends so I went on the search for a cheap hotel room in a decent area.
YORK HOTEL is awesome!!.. well, they are in the process of renaming it Hotel Vertigo and are undergoing renovation. For the price, around $100 a night I got upgraded to a King Suite.. two bathrooms and two walk in closets! YEAH! And the staff is super friendly.. The neighborhood is great (TenderNob) a few blocks from union square, close to a ton of transportation, and great cheap food EVERYWHERE. Yeah the room was a little outdated.. but it still had the biggest bed i've ever slept in.. and the room had a fridge, microwave, and complimentary coffee! |
