Bali is a "massage land", there you can find massages from 45.000IDR/hour (3 Eur) to 200$/hour(140Eur). But 80.000-100.000 IDR/h(6-7 Eur), is an average price, outside of the Hotels and ressorts, of course!
This is one of the places that you never reach if you're not a local. This spa is located at the end of a very narrow and hidden street on Monkey Forest Road, it's located after the soccer field in a small street on the left side (if you're descending to the Monkey forest (take a look at the map) Even do Sari recomend us was a little bit hard to reach it. But why it's located here? You will notice it once you come at the room...because of the views! The rooms are open to rice paddies! We arrived late, but after a missunderstanding (about our reservation) finally they lead us to our room, for a 3 hours treatement: 2 hours balinesse massage: Was great, they give you an small underwear and let you take a shower before, after massage you took a 30 minutes flower and oil bath, looking at the rice paddies while you drink a kind of ginger tea...heaven baby! 1 hour facial: Arg! So deep! but you feel great The price 440000IDR (30Euros) for 3 hours x 2 people, not bad!! Part of the Bali/Chiang Mai 09 travel blog |

We spent 3 days in Ubud, many new experiences. Like monkeys climbing me to try and get the food I was holding above my head (wish i had a photo), and my 1st time going to a spa parlor and getting a massage. We stayed at Pande Permai Bungalo…noodle. The 1st full day we went to the spa - yay :) Verona spa (we did the reservation a day before) as this was Asri's main reason to go to Ubud. We had this Javanese Spicy spa treatment, with Balinese massage facing the rice paddy.

It's located on a narrow street on Monkey Forest Road, after Football ground, it's at the end of the street, the location seems to be crappy, but once you reach your room you get amazed, rice paddies in front of you
