Vernon Winter Carnival

During the first week of every February, Vernon celebrates winter carnival. It’s made up of all kinds of activities, most of which are family-friendly. Parades, ice sculpting, air shows, ski competitions, fishing derbies, dances, curling bonspiels, banquets, talent show, hot air balloon rides, and more are events happening throughout the whole week. Many of the cities businesses get involved, which makes it a huge event for the community. Most people find something to participate in.
