This was still pretty early in my travel journeys. I had seen some of Europe but not a great deal. Venice, blew me away. I had never been to a place such as this. It's architecture is even more magical in unique setting of water surrounding and moving through the city. Venice is so grand and yet so fragile. It provided me my first really magical photo.

Descovering a unique place in Europe

This is mostly going to be a picture blog. This was back in 2004 for my 17th birthday. It was one of my most memorable trips, spent with my family and my best friend! Half the time in Rome, half the time in Venice!

During the first break of my study abroad program, I enjoyed some giant steins of beer in Munich and a wet bike ride in the mountains of Switzerland.

Everybody loves Venice! What's not to love. Sure you have to get past the smells and touristy hustle, but the City is a jewel of the world, and a fantastically historic and romatic getaway for a few days. It's easy to get in and out of, with direct rail and air service (you can fly directly from New York for a long weekend). If you haven't been, you must go. If you've been there, try again around a special time like Carnival - inhbitions disappear ith a good mask!

Evicted from the states and living around the world for the next year...Rome, Napoli, Pompeii, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Firenze, Venezia, Prague, Budapest, Hong Kong, Xiamen, Kunming, Da Li, Li Jiang, Shangri-La and Shanghai so far...

this trip was organised by my school in our sixth year. an unforgetable experience! I will go back there, but not to visit its many museums but to get to know the people a little bit more. There are some gaps in the dates because i didn't take pictures at that time ( raining, like in Ravenna, or dead batteries :) ) Some pictures may be from another place I visited in Italy, so give me a mail if you see some wrong titles at the pictures ( nobody is perfect :) )

Went to Italy for a few days, wow it is very pretty but there was so much to see. These are pictures of Doges Palace and the prision.

Wonderful 11 days in Spain, it was amazing.....
