I hope I don't get caught by the police after saying this: we spent the night in our RV, while it was parked in front of somebody's house! Third time in USA and second time in Alaska and California because of the Summer Work&Travel program.

I took a trip to California this past spring. I stayed in Venice Beach and hung out in LA, Hollywood, and San Diego. It was a great time!!

Great place to have fun and one of the closest beaches in LA. They have a dance at sunset that is open to the public which is pretty sweet.

This blog will capture my adventures in AZ and Cali. But also my preps for the trip. I started this blog October 2 and it will be continuously updatet till I'm back home again on November 30 :o)) Countdown; it's all over... :o( but I had a blast :o)

Our Holidays started with the wedding of Andre and Mindy in San Diego, after which left for Los Angeles. Before ending up in Las Vegas, we visited the national parks of Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Death Valley and Grand Canyon, as well as San Francisco and South Lake Tahoe.

amazing times..

This trip was totally out of the blue, whilst on my Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand, I needed to get away from windy Wellington so I chose this strange combination. I was spoilt with beautiful deserted Motu in the South Pacific and amazed at the Japanese culture, its a Country like no other I've ever witnessed, a place I fell in love with and hope to return very soon.

Made a road trip to sunny Southern California for 2 weeks. Visits with girlfriends at the beach & time with the parents. The grand finale for the trip is the all day concert "Hootenanny"!!! Sadly, a summer bug has put off the concert :0(

Few years ago I did a 4 weeks trip t the American west coast following an invitation from a good friend in San Francisco. We rent a car and explored some of California's beatifull spots. Later on I did a trip by myself as well taking a Greyhound bus to Seattle. It was a time full of impressions and experiences, a time I wouldn't like to miss.

I recently went on a road trip to California with three close friends. We drove through Michigan, Illinois, Nebraska, Nevada, Colorado, and finally reached California. We went for two weeks, and had the best time of our lives. I recommend going on at least one road trip with some friends in your life. It is truly something you'll never forget.
