I really regret not bringing my camera to this place, as it was the quintessential Turkish restaurant, as I would imagine it. Focused on Kebabs, there is a large, narrow, rectangular fire-pit in the background of the lower dining room where the chefs place the various skewers over a hot fire. Try not to sit too close, especially during the Spring to Fall as it will be a little warm!! From the impressive Mezze (Turkish variety appetizers) to the phenomenal grilled meats to the local desserts, this was the dining highlight of my weeklong trip to Turkey. As much as I love Efes Pils beer, it is a rather heavy accompaniment to the fare, especially if you are prepared to EAT!! Do not miss this place!!
