Best Poker Venue in Vegas Mar 21, 2012
If you play poker, stay here. Awesome poker room. Middle of the strip. Rooms are clean, spacious, and beds are very comfortable. Great shopping and restaurants including gondola rides through the middle of the hotel. The pool is great and seems to be much less crazy than others in the same class. The gym has a climbing wall and top notch machines. Spa is excellent. The hotel is very large but I prefer that as the space between casino and clubs and rooms offers a more quiet stay when you are ready to turn down.

Great Architecture and captivating interior Jan 14, 2011
I stayed at the Venetian hotel about 6 years ago, but never got to reviewing it. It was a one night stay on one of my whirlwind travels to meet a friend from Argentina. I should like to say that, for luck of a better word, it is almost like a palace. Very expensive and high market, but the price is worth all that you get to enjoy. I did not pay for my stay then, and out of respect I did not ask how much our room cost. But from shopping around before my last trip, I can tell you that a night's stay begins from $150 and above, except for low season (which I must say is not exactly low since this is Vegas!).
Reminiscent of the Venetian city in Italy, it brings with it the feel of a place in another time. On a recent trip with my visiting girlfriend, we happened to enjoy a visit to the hotel (spend much of the time at the Victoria's Secret). I enjoyed the decor and ambiance. The warm inviting colors, and richness of it all. If I had the money to spare, I would definitely return and stay here. For those who can afford it, I recommend it. Amazing relaxed stay at Venetian suites Jan 15, 2011
Very nice high end hotel. Suites are almost like a little bachelor apartment. Extremely expensive hotel rates though.
Positives: 5 star hotel Lots of shops directly in resort Great bathroom and decor Good service with requests Located directly on strip center Negatives: Beyond extremely expensive Beds were a bit small Everything comes at extra charge despite daily resort fee I would only recommend this hotel to very rich people who love the high end traditional setting. Otherwise, there are lots of other 4 star or 5 star Vegas hotels that are more affordable and as nice as the venetian.

Opulence in Vegas Aug 22, 2011
The Venetian is a beautiful hotel on the Strip in Vegas. It is no longer the newest or the grandest, but it is very beautiful and the rooms are the largest on average in Vegas. The ceilings of the casino and Mall are awe-inspiring with their DaVinci like paintings and sky blue aura.

Perfect Vegas Getaway with Italian Vibe Apr 20, 2010
I have nothing bad to say about the Venetian Resort & Hotel in Las Vegas. This is one of my favorite luxury places to stay in Vegas. The concierge service is helpful and staff is extremely accommodating. I was able to get tickets to all the shows I wanted to see. The shopping area & restaurants were great.
I stayed in a large suite which felt more like a house rather than a hotel room. There was a living room, dining room, kitchen, bar, separate bedroom, and two bathrooms. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone! |

Out of 7 hotels, this is now my FAVORITE hotel!!! Sep 12, 2010
Where should I start! All the good reviews are right, so right, this is one of 6 hotels I have stayed at (and including having seen a suite at 7th hotel, this is by far the best place I have stayed so far!)
Your room is actually a suite, no wait, let me back up to the beginning. A roundtrip shuttle (not hotel specific) from the airport on Grey Lines is only $12. You arrive at the hotel and don't have far to walk to get to the check-in desk (as with some hotels, it feels like you have to walk so far just to get to the check-in desk). Lovely staff, super sweet and mega helpful. Directions to the room are fairly easy. You walk in and you might just get gitty. The bathroom is gorgeously lavish, the bed makes you wish you could pack it in your bag and take it back home and then there's a living room area. The whole suite has 3 TVs (one in the living room, one in front of the bed, and one in the bathroom). Everything is so comfy. I enjoyed the L-shaped couch in the living room. The staff are almost too helpful; I asked for one set of towels and they delivered 3. I asked for a box of kleenex and housekeeping delivered it along with a roll of toilet paper (it was just funny cause I only wanted a box of tissues)-they just seem to like extra. My friend forgot her toothebrush and they brought up 2 toothbrushes, 3 mini-tubes of toothpaste, and 2 little bottles of mouthwash. Now, if that aint service, I don't know what is! Other than the room, the pool and Tao Beach is a great place for the young socialite to go hang out at, but if you don't get there early and claim space, you'll be stuck standing around on the perimeter...it gets realyl crowded! The canal shops are nice and just walking through there, you are mesmorized by the ceiling! There are plenty of restaurants and snack kiosks to choose from. I love TAO nightclub and the DJ at the V bar at night was awesome (at least it was the night we went). As with many of the hotels on the Strip, especially because it is connected to the Palazzo, a lot of walking can be involved, but wear appropriate shoes (sneakers, sandals, etc). I visit Vegas annually and have been 6 times and each time I go, I like to stay somewhere different, have a different experience, but it is very, very, very tempting to stay here again. Well, actually, I know I will stay here again, I just doubt it will be on my next visit. |

Pretty outside, horrible inside Dec 29, 2010
An extremely over priced hotel with luxury lobbies, roofs and hallways. 6 of us got a Bella suite, the suite looks amazing on their website. The actual room is a lot smaller than we were expected. The washroom took almost 1/5 of the space and it's very nice, that's why I rated it excellent. The bedsheet smelled and felt sticky. One of the TV was broken, they've never tried to fixed it within our 4 days stay. We found out the iron was leaking water right before we hit Tao night club. The water totally ruined the dress my girlfriend wanted to wear that night.
I wouldn't go back ever again. |

The Venetian hotel in Las Vegas Oct 16, 2009
The Venetian hotel is all suites, and the rooms are fairly large. The rooms are new, large and comfortable. There are 2 large flat panel TV's and another smaller one in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The in-room mini-bar was expensive and weigh-sensitive so you don't want to use it to store anything of your own! The bathroom is also large with a tub and separate shower. The toilet area is dimly lit however, not suitable for reading. The hotel is very lavishly decorated, and there are 2 large pools on the 4th floor, in addition to a sit-in-and-lounge shallow pool and private "beach". Of course the setting of the canals in Venice is a major attraction for the hotel, you can ride the gondola both in front of the hotel, and inside the shopping area where 4 bridges go over the canals. There is a St Mark's square, much smaller than the real one of course, but overall, really pretty nicely done and give a sense of Venice which is somewhere you should go for real someday!
The Bouchon bakery has very good, flaky and tasty croissants and other pastries, perfect for a quick breakfast on the go or take back to the room. Between the Venetian and the Palazzo, the more expensive hotel next door under the same management, there are a lot of restaurants and shopping and things to see! This is The Spot May 04, 2009
I stayed at the Venetian in March 08' and it is by far the best place I've stayed in Vegas. My friends and I were in Vegas to party and gamble on the NCAA tournment. The rooms were huge with two huge flat screen hdtvs in the room and another large tv in the bathroom. This was awesome, not that you spend that much time in the room but this place was great. Our bathroom was quite spacious to say the least. The location is convenient, you can walk right out to the Strip and get on your way. The feel is very up to date. The bars and clubs were tight as well, they would give hotel guest special entry. Even though its a large hotel I never felt that far from anything, it lacked the long walks and never-ending hallways. The service was great and I had no complaints about this hotel at all, top notch all the way.
pretty cool

Venetian Aug 22, 2009
Overall the hotel is amazing simply gorgeous BUT I found it to be rather boring. Don't get me wrong the place is packed with things like restaurants, shops and shows, but it just didn't seem as fun as other strip hotels. It is just a luxury hotel which is nice but when you go to Vegas, you want to do something fun, luxury you can get anymore but fun themed hotels are a Vegas specialty. So if you're looking for a luxury stay go with Venetian but if you want something fun and hip stay at one of the themed hotels (TI, Luxor, NYNY etc).
The rooms are great and double the size of the regular Vegas rooms but how much time do you really spend there at $200/night? |

Great Experience...(but the Casino reeks!) May 09, 2008
We did not stay overnight in this hotel, but we visited while in Vegas, of course. The attractions of the replica of Venice are amazing to see. It can't compare to the real thing, but it's great fun to experience a likeness in the U.S. (we've been to Venice, Italy twice).
The shopping is excellent and although we didn't take a gondola ride, we watched one and the gondolier we saw had the most amazing voice! We ate at The Grand Lux Cafe which was delicious and a very good value. HUGE menu and great drinks. While walking around the casino, I noticed the most nauseating odor. It smells like they sprayed way too much cheap bathroom deodorizer to cover up the strong smoke smell. The two smells together were enough to make me ill! That's the only strike against it...other than that, it's a great experience!

Luxury on the Strip Jul 06, 2008
As the name implies, this luxury hotel on the Strip in Vegas is reminiscent of the city of Venice in Italy. Recently remodeled and built onto, the hotel is boasted as on of the largest in the world. The Venetian's signature feature is its quarter-mile Grand Canal, a waterway by piazzas and shops on which guests may partake in gondola rides. Performers entertain guests along the Grand Canal's cobblestone walkways. The Grand Canal Shoppes include 80 international boutiques and name-brand outlets. The hotel's casino offers table games, a semi-private high-limit salon, slot and video poker machines, and a luxury race and sports lounge. The five-acre pool deck atop the fourth level of the Venetian tower has three pools, one whirlpool, ten cabanas for rent, cocktail service, and a central bar. I stayed here two years ago for a software convention. Since my company paid the expenses, I enjoyed my stay even more.

Though admittedly I haven't been to many hotels in Las Vegas, my first stay was at the Venetian and I enjoyed it so much I don't see the point in trying something else!
It's one of the most luxurious, spacious and comfortable rooms I've ever stayed at in my life. Everything about this hotel is opulent, without the sometimes overboard nature common to "Vegas Hotels". The prices are spectacular - rooms generally run about $180, but if you get on their mailing list, it is not rare to find weekend rates of $129, even lower on weekdays! The rooms are lovely.. but I've found it a bit hard to have any luck downstairs at their casino =) For a good time stretching my dollar, I head over to the Aladdin. Also, there are a handful of excellent restaurants and clubs right on the property for excellent yet convenient dining =)

I recently stayed at the Venetian and it was my first time. I've stayed at various Las Vegas hotels and this one is definitely the nicest I've ever stayed in. It's very spacious since all rooms are a suite!
The room are equipped with: living room area, 3 plasma flatscreen tvs, a big couch, printer/fax, tub, shower, and a vanity! Not to mention, robes =) The location is great since your on the strip of course. Other great hotels at a semi cheaper costs would be Monte Carlo. I like the location of hte Monte Carlo. It's smack right down in the middle of the Strip and way cheaper than The Venetian. Overall, it was a great experience to stay here. I've always wanted to stay here and I finally got to. |

The Venetian Oct 19, 2006
I stayed at the Venetian in Las Vegas with a group of friends. One in the group had a voucher for a free room, and we were able to upgrade it to a suite for a small extra fee. As there were 8 or 9 of us, that worked out quite well. I don't remember exactly what we ended up paying him, but it was rather reasonable for a suite. Anyway, my opinion is probably a bit different as we did not pay full price.
Anyway, how much can one really say about a Las Vegas resort in a review. They are there to serve you, and that's what they do. The Venetian is beautiful, but so are most resorts on the strip. Our room had two beds - I'm guessing Queen sized, but I'm not positive - plus a couch with a pull out mattress. Those three accommodated six of us, plus there was a pull away bed and other couches and chairs & carpeted spaces, we all found places to sleep. There are gondola rides too, one within the building; the other out by the strip. All in all, a good place to stay, as far as themed resorts go. Its location on the strip is pretty good too, near the Wynn and across the street from Treasure Island. Part of the Las Vegas Nevada - October 2006 travel blog

Great Vegas Hotel Jun 14, 2004
The Venetian hotel is one of the nicest hotels in Vegas. The all suites hotel with it's Venice themed decor is situated conveniently on the strip. Even if you don't like to gamble you will find many things to do both in the hotel and in Vegas.
