Velluto Crepes

There is nothing quite like savoring a crepe in the heart of San Blas, one of Cusco’s oldest and most charming areas.

We found Velluto just by chance when we were walking around San Blas our first night in Cusco. It was getting a bit cool and we were hungry, but didn't want to have something heavy, so a crepe sounded perfect!

The atmosphere of this place is very nice. It's a small and cozy place with warm light illuminating pink marble tables, a fireplace that warm the whole restaurant and very nice decorated. When we were there it was Christmas season.

They have a a bar with a range of wines and wide selection of beers. Their menu combines regional and international food. Of course there are the crepes, but also soups and salads. They have smoothies and also teas. And they will give you a homemade bread, very tasty. Their food is really yummy and you can see while the cook is fixing the different dishes in the open kitchen.

The staff is very helpful and the owner will take your order in person.

Definitely I recommend you this place if you are in Cusco and want to relax and taste a really great food.
