My first visit to the Eternal City. Stayed in a nice pensione near Stazione Lepanto (Osita Line) on Viale Giulio Cesare (Prati). Visited Vatican City a few times, strolled through the Roman Forum, paid my respects at several fine churches, and made some friends. I tossed my 3 coins into Trevi Fountain, with a promise to return one day. Tried my first real gelatto (yum!), my first Campari, and a walnut torte near Borghese Park.

My friend Christina and I went on a 3 week long backpacking trip around Europe. We flew into Rome and then went to Pisa, Florence, Venice, Interlaken, Berlin, Paris, Dublin, London, and Bath. It was so much fun. I learned a lot along the way and ran into some very interesting people. I can't wait to do it again some time.

My first trip to the motherland. Ridiculous trip. 36hours to get there, two weddings, one funeral, one long long earthquake, and several 5 hour lunches, and always being 3 hours late for engagements.
te amo peru.

We spent two days in Rome, Italy and then we spent ten days on a Mediterranean Cruise. We were able to cover a lot of ground in a little time. We can't wait to get back to Europe to spend more time in our favorite stops.
