Apr 16, 2004 – Apr 24, 2004
In 2004, I went to Italy with the same group that went to Paris. We rented a nice apartment in Rome and spent the majority of the week there. We did one day trip to Pompeii. The food was amazing, as was the weather, the art, and the culture.

I suppose you could classify me as the typical teenager living in Nova Scotia, religion is stupid and pointless. Ok let me rephrase that, you could classify me as the typical angsty teenager who lives in Nova Scotia and hangs out with a rougher tougher crew than most. I don't believe in Christianit…

This was my first solo trip to a foreign country (aside from going back and forth to the Philipines of course!). It was a blast and definitely liberating. Spent thanksgiving for the first time without the fam. Enjoy the pictures.

To get into the gates of Vatican City I had to wait a little over half an hour after rising early in the morning to find that a decently long line had already formed prior to them letting people inside; even though it was a weekday. Thankfully, and amazingly, this was the only line that …

We took campsite transportation to the Vatican City. We arrived and there was a huge line to get in... we walked around to St. Peter's Square. The Pope was speaking when we got there but there were too many people to get in. Instead we went to a shop to wait where we heard an engl…

If you would like to visit the Vatican, but you're a little short on time, I would highly recommend booking a private tour guide through a reputable company in Rome. Some of these tour guides will even purchase your tickets for you in advance to save a little more time. The reason …

Roma, Italy-the first european country I've visited thus far. Hopefully more to come. So my sis and i spent 3 days there (not enough), lived in hostel just outside Bologna station. Didn't get to visit any museums, but I though the street of Rome has enough history than the paintings and statuses can tell.
We feed on local goods in the supermarket and dined out for 2 lunches and 2 dinners.
