My best friend and I spent three weeks in Italy which was our first stop in our two month Europe trip. We saw everything from Rome to Tuscany to Lake Como. It was an amazing experience and the hot Italian men didn't hurt either :) After Italy we headed for Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Spain, and United Kingdom. Hope you enjoy the pics

From Naples I sped up to Rome, and had the great pleasure of

Naples, Rome and the Amalfi Coast are beautiful parts of Italy, each with their own brand of charm. Rome is historic: filled with monuments to the great age. Naples is located around a bay, and the ancient city of Vesuvius lies outside it. The Amalfi coast is dotted with quaint villages with cafes along the water and tiny shops selling locally-produced pottery.

But that's all I had, so I was going to make te most of it. Though most of the attractions are of walking distance to one and another, but Roma Pass did come in handy especially when I was done visiting Colosseum in the morning, and walked my way up to Trevi Fountain, and decided to jump right back to Colosseum for some night photos - the metro got you there fast. Also, in this trip a visit to the Vatican Museum. Amazing.

THANK YOU to everyone who sends me postcards and help make my collection grow! I APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH! If you sent me a postcard and you don't see it in this blog, it means it's still on its way or I never received it because it got lost or someone stole it. Yeah, it happens.

I'm sure most visitors here are Catholic, but tourists of all shapes and sizes were drawn here...in large numbers. The line to get inside St. Peter's Basilica was long and all under the hot sun.
