Varca Overview

Varca beach is situated South of Goa. The beach is very tranquil, calm and peaceful , far removed from the shores of North Goa.

Varca Beach is a long isolated 10km stretch of clean soft white sand. This beach provides the perfect base for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The beach at Varca has a natural beauty, with black lava rocks dotting the sands, and there are plenty of sun beds and loungers from which to admire the tranquil scenery. Wooden fishing boats are lined along some areas of Varca beach. Traditional palm-thatched roofs behind the dunes are home to the local fishing community. Numerous beach shacks offer delicious fish and seafood dishes at extremely reasonable prices, and Varca is home to some large four and five star hotels, which sit behind the beach amidst beautiful gardens and attractive surroundings .
