First train experience

Took the train from Kovalam to Varkala.  The train are a big improvement over the bus system but leaves much to be desired.  We shared a three seat bench with four other people, most strangers to the soap. Varkala is a nice layed back beach village with ok seafood and a million stray dogs.  The beach was a little rough for swimming and the hotel manager was a bit of a pirate, but par for the course for where we're at.
