Vanna's Apartments Aegina

Having booked to stay at Vanna's Apartment's because of the cheap price, myself and my partner were expecting somewhere very basic and livable. However, when we arrived we stunned at how beautiful the apartment was: bright, clean (immaculate actually), sea view, amazing air con and all new appliances.

The accommodation was by far the best I have stayed in in this area (I have been to Agia Marina before and have visited various hotels). This meant that we ate in on many evenings and had somewhere to rest out of the sun.

The owner, Vanna, met us on arrival and helped us all through our stay - though we really didn't need help with anything. She kept an eye on the appartment, which might annoy some people, but as this is a small town on a small island so it is just normal and is part of local living.

I would recommend going to Aegina if you want a Greek holiday without the usual package holiday Brits tagging along. I would recommend Vanna's apartment if you want somewhere nice and traditional to stay.
