2 friends of mine moved to Seattle. Naturally, I left Philly's 90+ degree weather to find Seattle was in a freak heat wave and they were in the 90's as well and of course no one has air conditioners! We took a day trip up to Vancouver since it was only an hour or so away. My friends car was having brake problems, so we stopped at a dealership on the way up to get it fixed. It was a great drive up, but we wanted to be able to stop!

This was a trip of a lifetime and it was a great time to spend with my folks and my sister. The vistas and wildlife were awesome and the food on the cruise could not be beat. It was one of those vacations were you get pampered, but still enjoy all there is to see and do! I will always remember this vacation!

Not the greatest blog, but we've all got to start somewhere! I assure you I improved my blogging after this ;) For the start of my RTW trip I stopped in at Hawaii for a few days, then on to spend a couple of weeks around Toronto, finishing with a few days in the Big Apple on my way to the UK.
