Vancouver Giants Game

The Vancouver Giants are a WHL hockey team that play at the Pacific Colliseum in Vancouver. These games are a lot more accessable that Canucks games, but still tons of fun when you go to a good game. Sometimes they are even more entertaining when you go to a game when they play against a good rival. They are not too expensive and not usually sold out. The players on WHL teams are young, NHL prospects, usually about 15 to 20 years old. If you can't get Canucks tickets, I'd say this is the next best thing. The Giants are a great team, Memorial Cup Champions last season. They are a lot of fun to watch and see future NHL players before they hit the NHL. The Pacific Colliseum is not as easy to get to via public transit as there isn't a skytrain station near the stadium, but there are buses that go there...just not sure which ones.
