Vancouver Architectural Walking Tours Jul 29, 2015
The Vancouver Architecture Institute of BC offers various walking tours (mostly with a architecture theme) on various districts of downtown Vancouver. It offers 6 different tours to cover, Chinatown, Gastown, Downtown, Westend, Strathcona, and Yaletown districts in downtown and nearby areas.

The cost is $10 for a 2 - 2.5 hours guided walking tour, and you will see and learn what most tourists would not see or know. You will learn about history, important events took place in the past which impacted on how Vancouver becomes today, etc...

I live in Vancouver for 25 years, and there is lots I have learned from this tour which I didn't know about. I highly recommend all their tours to visitors and locals who are interested in knowing Vancouver from a non typical tourist point of view.

In this case, I joined the Gastown Architecture Walking tour which is 2 hours long. Absolutely wonderful!
