Valluvar Kottam is the Monuments dedicated to Tiruvalluvar. Tiruvalluvar is a poet and saint. He is famous for his work Thirukkural.

This memorial monument is constructed in temple chariot style. 33m tall statue of the of the saint is installed inside the chariot. This temple style chariot is the exact replica of Thiruvarur.

An auditorium is constructed and connected to the Charriot can host 4000 people. 101 foot tall chriot can be seen from far in the area. This memorial is one of the modern constructions represents the culture of Tamils.

Last chiefminister of Tamilnadu, Karunanidhi took his oath here when he was elected as chief minister.
