Valladolid is a true Castillian Spanish city with plenty to do and see.

Valladolid is the capital of castilla y Leon and is located around 2hours north of Madrid. Valladolid is not a tourist city and so there are not many tourist hotspots around, mainly foreigners are there to learn Spanish or to teach English.

Valladolid has many good shops and a wide selection of bars and restaurants to drink and eat at, with an attractive square to watch the world go by in. There are still places to see including the cathedral and a good walk down the river, which is a great place to sunbath in the summer months with some mates and a bottle of Mahou!
