Val D'ouro Barcelona Reviews
Below average Food Oct 20, 2013
Come across this place after day sightseeing and it seems the place was very busy with people having late lunch.
We seat and asked for the English menu. Next to our table was a couple of guys ordered a t’bone steak and it look so huge and delicious.
Finally I settle with bbq lambs and my travel companion ordered t’bone steak and both of us looking forward to the food and I was starving at that time (it was past my lunch time – almost 3pm).
The drink arrived quickly and the waitress was friendly.
Unfortunately when our food arrived, it was not that good. My bbq lamb was very dry, it has taste but the meat was quite chewy (anyway, I finished the lamb- since I was hungry), the green pepper and tomatoes was over cooked and I skip the fries.
The t’bone steak has similar fate, it looks good and very big but the meat was quite chewy as over cooked.
The price was not expensive; I think it was around 10 euro for bbq lamb and 13.50 euro for the steak and cheap drink, cost 2 euro for a bottle of coca cola.
We probably would not go back to this place.
