Enjoyable way to spend a Sunday Sep 06, 2008
The Vail Farmers Market is a great way to spend a summer's day in Vail. Open every Sunday from mid-June to the beginning of September, the market features fresh produce, delicious food from a number of vendors, and an artist and artisan section. There is live entertainment, including Jazz @ the Market, which features one of Vail's favorite local musicians, Tony Gulizia (and sometimes the rest of his trio...). The market is right in the center of the Village, so it is easy to explore the rest of Vail's shops when you go. Tourists and locals enjoy this event.
