Uvita is just south of Dominical, Costa Rica. It is a small town situated in the Marino Ballena National Park - where you can see whales at certain times of the year.
It provides a unique combination of rainforests close to the sea, with nice beaches.
Allthough it's undergoing heavy development it's still not as touristy as the north of Costa Rica.
