African Regents Guest House Sep 12, 2011
Me and my family stayed at African Regents guest house on our visit in Durban. The staff were amazing, andre and jack were always friendly to us. it was a flawless service, also the lady that served us breakfast in the morning. The surrounding area is also very homey. The bar downstairs was cosy enough for us after tiring day cruising around durban.

Highly Recommended to book for accomodation at African Regents

If fish is your thing!

After talking to some of the locals which recomended this place we decied to pay this aquarium a visit and ive really glad we did. This is a must-see if you are in durban.

The admissionprice is R88 which is about 13dollars. It might seem like a high admission price for a aquarium, but vith this extensive exhibit its good value. You can also visit the Ushaka Wet 'n Wild World ,but we didnt have time to do that ,but it where some (very beatifull) girls running around the park with very little clothes.

If you want to grab something to eat there are 2 main resturants and 2 bars inside the park. Upper deck Resturant and Cargo Hold resturant. They are located over the aquarium so they are very easy to find. The upper deck resturant is more like a place for a lunch while the cargo hold is more for a better dinner (its also more expensive). The quality of the food is good , but nothing spectacular in the upper deck, didnt visit the Cargo Hold resturant

They feed the sharks and the other big fish 14:30 every day and this is the highlight of every day. It can be a little crowded at the windows with the best view ,but just walk around and its easy to find good window.

If you want to take som great pictures i can recomend a camera wich works well with high iso settings. I had big problems gettings enough light for some aquariums even at Iso400 which is fairly noisy with most pocket cameras.
