Good but boring hotel Aug 08, 2011
We arrived at this hotel in the early afternoon and had some lunch first in the restaurant of the hotel. The food there was good. But the restaurant was in an area without windows, so that was not that nice. The next day my sister got sick, but it is not said it was because of the food in this hotel. If so, then take cautious for that. Thank God I did not get sick. So I am not sure if we can blame them or that it was of something else.
We did not stay in this hotel for long, because the next morning we continued very very early already. In the afternoon after arriving there we had a tour and that evening we went to a show.
Because we were about to leave very early the next morning, they had the possibility to order a package for breakfast to take away. So a good service I think.
The hotel itself was quite big, but quite boring as well. Maybe because there were not many visitors staying there. Very silent everywhere. There was a swimming pool outside, but it was raining a lot because of monsoon time. So also there was not a lot to do. The hotel existed of only two floors. So not a gigantic hotel. When you enter the hotel you come in a big entrance hall. This is quite spacious and all made of marble floors. There are also some souvenir shops inside the hotel. But we did not take the time to check those shops out.
The location was alright. Not that great, because it was along a big road and we did not know exactly where we were compared to the Kamasutra temples. Seemed in the end not even that far away. But we had to drive another route there. In the evening we drove a shorter route for that show in the same direction, then we found out.
The room was quite simple. But good enough. The beds were good, although we could not stay long in them. The bathroom was alright, too. But just quite simple. Nothing extra ordinary or so. But everything was clean, which is quite nice when you are staying in a hotel.
The service was good, as I said they served us even a take away breakfast. Further than that we did not need their service really.
When you arrive it looks quite something, because you arrive at a drive way with palm trees. Where you get out the car, there is a roof, so when it rains (and it did when we arrived) you can go in dry. The gardens in the back, where the swimming pool is as well, are quite large. We walked through them for a short time. A pity, because if the weather would have been better, We would definitely have gone in the swimming pool. The temperatures were tropically hot!
It is alright staying here, no complaints. But if I would go there the next time, I think I would try to find another hotel which looks a bit more atmospheric.

A nice resort-style hotel Aug 20, 2010
This is not the kind of accommodation I usually stay at. We ended up at this 4-star resort as part of our trip through Rajasthan. For what it is it is actually quite good value. Rates are around Rs 2000 for a double and for that you get a large room with all the usuals like A/C, fan, coffee and tea making facilities, etc.
The resort offers tons of other facilities: a swimming pool, pool table, table tennis, massage, bar, restaurant, night club, you name it.
The rooms are arranged around a large garden with palm trees and the inviting swimming pool, with a rather dangerous looking slide (which actually bears a sign that guests are advised not to use the slide!)
As with almost all hotels in India there's a restaurant on the premises, though we didn't eat here. The sumptuous breakfast buffet is the best we've had the whole trip through.
One word of warning: make sure you have a room on the second floor and as far away from the reception as possible, as the bar can be quite noisy with private parties.

Good location and service in Khajuraho Jan 14, 2010
The location is excellent as it is very close from the erotic Hinduism temples. The room is very spacious and the shower pressure is ok. If you are coming in January, ask for a heater, as hotels in India don’t usually have a central heating system running in the winter.
Rooms have TV, a desk and very comfortable beds. If you are concerned about showers, don’t worry, I took a 30 minutes hot shower and it was fine! ☺ When you get a cold in India, it is one of the most satisfying moments you can get!
Service is been very good so far. We ask for a hitter and also a hair drier and we got in the room in no time! Let’s see breakfast tomorrow….
The breakfast was all right and as always service was very good. Sometimes you even feel bad as they are always on to of you.
It has a huge swimming pool in the back, right in the middle of the garden.
Overall I recommend it but don´t expect to find a beautiful place :)
