Uplands Centre Information and Description
Uplands Centre Hostel is located at Changanyikeni area on Observation Hill, near to the University of Dar es Salaam (The Hill), opposite to the Eastern Africa Statistical Training Centre (Takwimu).
The high altitude compared to its surroundings enables it to enjoy the cool breezes of the Indian Ocean from the east.
It has twenty-eight self-contained rooms with two beds each. We provide meals per order in our restaurant and, for your safety, have security arrangements with a professional security firm.

Hey everyone! Well it is around 6pm on Sunday here in Tanzania. I'll give you an update on everything that has happened so far.
Friday morning we woke up at 2:30 am and showered. We left Plattsburgh around 3:30 to catch the ferry …… Finally in Tanzania! |
