Great art and great transport! May 04, 2011
Although I’m rather shocked at why a metro station warrants a review, after visiting this one, I believe it does. At first, like many others, the metro station was rather convenient for me to get through Naples in between my hostels and sights. However, this station is more of a sight in its own right and not just something to pass through.

Designed by the New Yorker Karim Rashid, the art and design on display here is amazing. It’s like a museum to modern art, where the colours, shapes and textures are all amazing and dazzling. It was pretty cool, and I was forgetting why I was here at the metro station after all.

If you visit just one metro station in Naples, make it this one. It’ll actually take you places as well and serve as a museum visit too!

Please note that going through the metro station is free to see most of the art, but if you don't have a metro ticket to pass through the barriers, you'll miss out on some of the art!!
