The night before was amazing fun. Well, I think it was. OK lets rephrase and start again. The night before was more than amazing, it was what happens when everyone arrives in a good mood, determined to have a scream. That's exactly what happened. So, imagine waking up early the following day to go walking in the rocky canyon, with no breakfast and a quickly slurped tea/coffee and you get the idea of how I was feeling... TOTALLY ready for day 2!I was to be the only guy in the Melanie's car but...

So today I set my alarm early... for 10:30AM... I had to get out to mail a package. Yesterday I went to the post office before work and had everything to mail; the magazine, snacks, DVD, book and promo CD's so she can see how to put together a portfolio to get a job (she's graduating college in May)... well, I forgot her address. I asked the person at the counter what time their hours were for saturday and it was 9AM to 1PM... which is an issue as on my day off I usually don't get...

Finally, we arrived home in Phoenix, around midnight. Regardless, the trip was a raging success, and I loved every single minute of it.

Still being new in town, I wanted to check out some of the lesser known areas near Sacramento and one of my co-workers suggested visiting some of the caves/caverns in the area that offer tours! WHAT?!?! I had no idea such a thing existed near here!! I thought this would be an awesome way to spend the day so I went online and did some research on which ones interested me the most and decided on the Black Chasm Cavern in Volcano and the Sutter Gold Mine Tour which would be on the wa...

We rented a kayak and went out on the water for a few hours in search of a manatee. All we found were a couple of iguanas and a condom floating in the water! Sick!!

Last week, when I was not doing much work at work, I spent a few hours surfing the web for restaurants to have my birthday dinner. I used Citysearch Los Angeles to help me find an affordable French restaurant. Citysearch Los Angeles featured Café Flore through a web video. The place looked charming, as a bistro should. Furthermore it was named on Citysearch’s Best Lunch, Salad, Sandwich, Brunch, and French Food lists. So I checked Café F...

Tracy and I finally had our first full night's sleep! =D I think we got 7 hours and it was an amaaaazing feeling after the two 2 hour catnaps we've had in the last two days! I missed the superb pace and quality of the first 36 hours but realized that isn't sustainable unless.. oh you're SAL!!! My he is a BUNDLE of energy, it's wonderful and contagious at the same time! So upon waking we were missing Sal and Danny already but at least Danny was still in town! So we showered, packed quickly and...

Well earlier this past week for three days it got down to below 40 degrees F. Sure makes 10 below feel warm these days. Seems that 40 below is a cut off for thing to start acting wacking. My 'check engine' light went on for no apparent reason, cause I checked and it's still there. You tires get frozen and it feels like you are driving on bumping ground when you know it's flat. And then, it's just damn cold on you nose, fingertips and toes if you are out for too l...

Farmers Market (6333 W. 3rd)(Fairfax)(Cheap). I love love love farmer's markets and this is the original one located at Third and Fairfax. There are a ton of eateries in this place. My favorites include: Bob's donuts (for yummy donuts, cinnamon rolls, beignets), the French crepe place, Loteria Grill (delicious tacos and yummy watermelon drink), the Malaysian place. Sorry I can't remember the names…

Prologue
In the fiction novel "Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown, the word "plankton" does not appear. In this blog, entitled "Escape from Reality" the words "giraffe", "turtle","internet", and "schematic", and the term "we’re not in Kansas any more" appear once, and very early at that. In fact, in the first paragraph.
You’re probably scratching your head and wondering "What has happen to this guy?"
Nothing. It’s just that both of them are works of fiction. In the latter’s ca...

My friend, McKenzie and I were looking for something to do one weekend that would be fun, and different than what we normally do...which is pretty much go to coffee, or breakfast, or go shopping, or something around town. So we decided to go fishing...kind of random for us, but that's what we were going for. We got up early, went and bought fishing licenses, and set off on our adventure. First we went to Hauser Dam, and climbed down below the dam to try our luck. The only thing I managed to d...
