If you ever have to visit the UK, do it for this. You can normally get tickets around March/April time, they sell out fast but its not impossible to get them. The Glastonbury Festival is just the most incredible week long party you'll ever have. I love it.

In Devon and cornwall you can pretty much walk around the entire coast through nature reserves and nice beaches.
From Brixham to Kingswear the coastal path is absolutely fantastic,it may be a very hard walk up and down hills relentlessly for about 10miles it can get quite knackering, but the rewar...

Well you need to get the bus from Brighton for about £2 but apart from that totally free.
It's the most spectacular scenery in the whole of the British
countryside in my opinion. Formed by the receding waters of the ice age
or the work of the devil? A spectacular v-shaped valley and from the
to...

The 'Woman in Black' is a very, very chilling play at Fortune Theatre in London, and the first play I ever saw.
It's based on the book of the same title by Susan Hill and does it justice. I couldn't sleep for a couple of nights after seeing it! That could be because I scare easily, or the face of t...

To many people I know, this would be their worst nightmare! Being surrounded by English yobs, yelling, screaming, chanting, expensive food and drinks, crowds and FOOTBALL!
But for me it was a once in a lifetime chance to see 2 of the best teams in the world play in the first final at the new Wemble...

After I ascended to my hotel room in the “Crap Lift” (TM) – which is like a lift, but crap – I put down my bag, closed the door, and immediately sought solace in - no , not the min bar! - My hotel bible. Because as you all know, I'm a very religious man...

Windsor Castle can be seen for miles around. The town is built around it, and still retains much charm, with cobbled streets and sloping hills. There are many unique shops around, and, as the castle is still in use by the Royal Family, you can even go inside at certain times and see the opulant inte...

Not much interested in a place that celebrates dead people I first went there in 1999 on the advice of my cousin, just because and fell in love with the space. Go to the side of the cemetry that doesn't house Carl Marx. Small tours of only 12 people are taken hourly by volunteers a...

Voted the worst night club in Europe, its still full to bursting every night. As one of the only student clubs in Durham, I love the fact that you could walk in and know everyone in there! Selfridges is a large department store in Oxford Street. A nice place if you want to shop. Less exclusive than Harrods, but here you have enough space to walk with your backpack on your back (in Harrods you have to carry your bag in your hands because of the safety). Here you can find everything you...
