Nice Hotel one block from old town Apr 11, 2017
The hotel located one block behind the old town, with an easy walk through the small river to go to the centrum. It is basically right behind the church at the old town. The castle was a couple block behind the hotel.

The reception was friendly and speak English well. The check in was quick and easy as it was pre book accommodation. Our room was ready when we arrived. We even get a city map from the reception and he showed the way toward the center.

Surprisingly the room was quite big with plenty of lights, since we have a corner room with a nice big windows on each side facing the street, and we have a good view toward the greenery and the street. It was a bit noisy when we arrived in the afternoon. However it become dead quite at night time and no traffic noise. However the wall was not really sound proof, as we can hear our neighbours when they come or go out from the room and banging their doors.

There were two single beds put together with a thick duvet, and on top of the matrass was a bathrobe and a couple of towels for each person to use. The bed was comfortable and good to sleep in.

We have a small table and a couple of chairs at the end of the bed for relaxing or watching television. The flat screen television was very small. I do not remember if I turn that on or not. I presume it was working.

There were plenty of space in the room to put our luggage and also one working desk next to the television.

The internet connection in the room was acceptable. Not superbly fast but it was okay.

The bathroom was spacious, but the hot water take a while to come out. At least everything was working well.

The hotel bar was closed when we arrived in the afternoon, and it is open at 6pm, and we had some drinks there before heading out for dinner at the old town. Unfortunately there were limited drinks available, so not much choice at this bar.

The hotel provided buffet lunch at lower fee as well, however we do not try it as it was quite crowded with many guests and we do not fancy the food served (we peep at the food).

The buffet breakfast served in the morning was okay. Plenty of selection from cold and warm dishes with a couple choices of fruit juice and tea or coffee, and also fresh fruits. The staff was friendly but it was under staff as not many people working there and looks like struggle to clean up the plates and table after guests.

The hotel offer massage service at reasonable rate since there is a spa at the basement. Unfortunately I could not booked it as it was fully book at the time I want it, and they only available at late night time or early in the morning which I decline.

It was an okay stay, quite nice actually.
