Uncle Jack's New York Reviews
Aug 31, 2007
Really great service, but sort of average for a steakhouse. Don't get me wrong - the food was good, but I've had better (e.g., Arnie Morton's, Mastro's, etc.). I believe my favorite items were the caprese salad (which was bursting with flavors - sweet, plump tomato, fragrant basil and creamy mozzarella) and the garlic mashed potatoes (very creamy and light). Then I had the surf & turf - again, good (lobster was perfectly cooked) ... but I feel a top-notch steakhouse needs to have a shockingly memorable steak, and while this was good, it just didn't deliver.
