Uncle Bobs Cafe, Min de Lu, Urumqi

Located near the peoples square and the large pink department store this is a great little cafe run by "uncle" Bob who's from California but living in Urumqi and married to a local Uighyr lady. They serve lovely food ranging from american, italian and spanish foods to a simple sandwich if required! Local beers and ales are on sale and he's got a great stock of white spirits.

You'll mainly meet ex-pats who are living and teaching in Urumqi but new faces are always made feel very welcome and I had a great time hanging out here while I was in Urumqi.

Prices are very reasonable and service is top notch.
