I joined a group of geologists to explore the vulcanos on Bali and Java. Between this serious work I enjoyed the beautiful country of Indonesia. First we had a group of 8 people, later on 3 girls joint us and we did the rest of the tour with 11 people. One of my last days on Java, I really felt the earth moving. It WAS a minor earthquake.

After relaxing for a couple of days in Legian, we decided to take a day trip to Uluwatu in Southern Bali.  A 45 minute cab ride took us to one of the oldest temples in Bali, Pura Uluwatu.  Our driver also promised great surfing, but the wind wasn't cooperating.  Although disappointed…

This was just a quick trip. I needed to get away for a while as I felt life was starting to get on my nerve. I picked Bali as my destination to recuperate and it was a good choice after all. Hope you like the pictures I took there.

9 Días recorriendo la isla de Bali.

My friends and I were so fortunate as to visit Bali for a month in December '05. One of my most memorable trips ever. I love this island and could never think of my future without more Bali in it.

My first professional volleyball gig overseas... way overseas... to Indonesia. A couple of months after the tsunami, I accepted the offer of a team, so I spent 3 months playing for the Jakarta Electric volleyball team, what an experience! Learn so much about their culture and got to vacation in Bali and other islands... what a treat after so much work!

Do you like dolphins? I do.. I like this animal since I was child and I wanted to see them not only at seaworld's attraction. Last week finally I could see wild dolphin at Lovina, Bali. They swam and jumped very near me. It was wonderful experience for me. I woke up and departed to the sea to meet these lovely animal at 5:30 AM.. and my sleepy dissapeared when I saw their first jumping. So sweeeeet
