Experience the Culture and Traditions of Uganda Jun 01, 2013
Many people come to Uganda for the safaris, primates, gorillas, work etc, but there is something beyond all that; the culture of Uganda. There is something beyond the vast wilderness, the gorillas, primates and roads; the people of Uganda. With more than 60 tribes and languages spoken throughout the country, Uganda offers one of the richest cultures in the continent of Africa. The cultures and traditions that have been passed down through stories, totems, dance and lifestyles goes deep into the heart of the country. To know Uganda, you need to know the heart of its people, then you will enjoy the country.

When you travel, try to leave your own culture back home and embrace the new cultures you are traveling to. If you bring your culture with you, you will have little room to know and understand the one you should be experiencing.
