Arrived early evening in Udon Thani, northern city of Thani. I was so glad that at the airport counter, there was the van service going straight to Nong Khai in the Thai side of the border. I previously read in one of the forums that you can ride a van to the border to cross to Laos.
With Thailand's wide higways, the 60km distance to Nong Khai only took around 40 minutes to reach. After a few minutes at the immigration counter, I boarded a public bus that goes to Lao...
