Great GEM in the heart of SF on the popular Post St. just a few blocks away from Union Square, Powell St. Cable Car, Theater District, Market St. and countless restaurants.

Had the pleasure of staying here a MONTH in a private room with private bath, had an AMAZING classic claw foot bathtub.....aaaaaaaaaaaahh!

Located near great ethnic restaurants: Indonesian, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Pakistani, Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Greek, Persian, Peruvian, and Mexican.... a delight to have so much variety within WALKING distance.

Great friendly staff, onsite laundry, community kitchen, computer room for a fee, pool table, and FREE Wi Fi throughout, secure building, elevator.

The best thing is that unlike most places they have daily CULTURAL activities with hotel staff as leaders. GREAT LOCAL PUB CRAWL

This is a hostel and hotel with private rooms/baths.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Enjoy SF without the need for a car!

or... rent a car from the rental agencies just a couple of block away :D

Hi!

I had the pleasure of staying here for a month in a private room with an AWESOME old fashioned tub with TONS of hot water mmmm.

Great location on a safe, quiet main street. Laundry, internet with computer, Free Wi Fi in building, just a few blocks to Union Square, great restaurants all around, near BART and Cable cars. Secure entrance, ELEVATOR.

Great friendly staff with daily scheduled activities!

Lots of homeless on the smaller streets. Take Powell East to Union Square if don't want to see this, but REALITY is part of being a traveler :D

TIFTIF says: A very fun hotel. Located at the end of Fisherman's Wharf, near the cable car stop, Ghiradelli's factory, McCormick and Schmicks. Loved this hotel, the shampoo/conditioner/lotion and soap were worth the stay. They had wine tasting in the lobby one of the nights we were there! Extremely clean, locat...
sincitytraveler says: A clean, comfortable and conveniently located hotel with quite a bit of charm. It's an older hotel built in the early 1900's and very well maintained. The location is convenient and within walking distance to Union square, the Theater district and the Trolley. My room was very comfortable and cl...
