USA Hostels Las Vegas
USA Hostels Las Vegas Reviews
A great hostel in a not so safe area Aug 20, 2007
This hostel was a good hostel, but the area made us a bit scared. On the bus on the way to the hostel, we asked somebody for directions and they actually took us to the hostel as they said it was unsafe! We asked the people that worked at the hostel, and they said when we were inside the hostel, we were fine, but not to leave alone! Every time we did leave there were loads of police about too!
The hostel itself was great! There was a swimming pool and the guys were really cool about drinkig and providing entertainment, etc! They provided free breakfast too which is a huge bonus when your travelling! You could also book trips to Grand Canyon etc cheaper through them which we did! I wouldn't recommend staying there alone, but if your with friends I'm sure you will be fine. Th only bother we has were some kids yelling stuff at us as we walked past them, but that was no big deal really! Part of the USA 2007 travel blog |

…off the Greyhound after a 5 1/2 hour drive from Los Angeles, and fell right on two Aussies who were heading for the same hostel as us. We all shared a cab and arrived at our 'USA hostel' around ten, too wrecked to be doing much the first night so we just had a meal in a nearbly restaurant. We stopped off at a casino on the way back… Viva Las Vegas!! By John. |
