Though the guidebooks mark it down as fairly uninteresting and advise travelers to pass it up if short on time, the U.N. Cemetery is a simple, but evocative site, definitely worth a little of your time. Well-manicured and maintained, as the flags snap in the breeze, a gentle hush lies over the main cemetery. Whatever your feelings about war in general (or the Korean War in particular), it is obvious that this is a place of peace. The memorial wall, emblazoned with the names of all who died fighting in the Korean War, though set slightly apart from the main cemetery must be viewed.
