UCI kino düsseldorf (cinema)

there are three big cinema complex in düsseldorf: the UFA in the central station, UCI at the harbor and CINESTAR in oberkassel. my favorite is the UCI, it has 10 cinemas inside. it has bar while you wait for you film you can have a drink or two and a restaurant inside the complex which offers german and continental cuisine. the only setback is, that they dont show english programs and are dubbed in german :D but the other cinemas presents blockbuster english programs.

i like it here very much because the people that go are all disciplined that you can enjoy the program well.

the cinema is not cheap on weekends it is about 10 euros per person, but they have the so-called kinotag (movie day) for 4.50 euros per movie, it is on mondays and tuesdays.

the finger foods are also not cheap.

but all in all - the ambiance, the crowd and the location (at the back of the cinema are düsseldorf's nightlife for for the rich and not-so-rich such as the red carpet 3001, the restaurant riva and harpune) makes it an exciting place to be.
