U Pirosmani Moscow Reviews
Casual surprise Aug 20, 2012
We were at the lake, watching the Novodevichi Convent and it started to rain very hard. U Pirosmani was the only shelter. We ran inside without even looking at what for a place it was. Once inside it was clear, a Georgian restaurant. The decoration was very Georgian, not kitsch but actually very cosy and welcoming.
The waiter was very fast, nice and alert. He explained some about the dishes and was always around.
The menu was quite extensive, with many Georgian but also the Russian dishes. Of Course they also had the famous cheese bread, khachapuri.
We have stayed here for a long time, it was really pleasant to sit and eat here. And all this time we continued to enjoy the view of the Novodevichi convent.
