U Krále Brabantského Prague Reviews
The King of Beer Apr 02, 2010
Very cute place in the vicinity of the Prague Castle. The translation of the name U Krále Brabantského is The King of Brabant’s, referring to a duke who was known as the king of beer.
The entire establishment has been decorated as a medieval inn, and the dressed up staff plays along. They play medieval sounding music while you sit on a sheepskin at a candlelit table, and it’s all very cosy.
Luckily the menu offers not only medieval grub (which would be tasty, I’m sure) and beer, you can also have a vegetarian dish and Coca Cola light here if you like. There’s life music on Saturday and Friday night and although we weren’t there to judge by ourselves, it could be worth a visit.
