U Chiang Mai Hotel

I found this to be a terrific little hotel, modern, yet still has a local ambience about it.

It was convenient to get to most places & the Sunday Market was right outside , which made it so convenient, I found that market much nicer than the usual Night Bazzaar.

Close to a few cafes & restaurants, bank, atms, laundries, & plenty of transport around if you can't walk any further.

The rooms were spacious, about 42 sq meters, with a great balcony, over looking the pool, the usual toiletries were in the bathroom, which had a great rain shower, no bathtub, they were only in the deluxe room & above, but that didn't bother me.
You could choose what soaps you wanted, I chose Jasmine, & there was a choice of music they'd load into the Ipod that was supplied, also a choice of pillows. There was a safe in the room, & batrobes & slippers.

There was the usual tea & coffee ( fresh coffee with a percolator) as well , & bar fridge where you could have 1 item complimentary.

The pool was great to relax in after a hard day of walking.

Free use of pc's & free wi fi, the staff were terrific & nothing was any trouble, breakfast was anytime & you could have it anywhere, I chose to have it on my balcony, & there was a big choice.

I'd definately stay again.
