Tyfoon is a great Japanese restaurant in between Short North and the Arena District. The sushi is truly delicious, and friends of mine have had other dishes that they really enjoyed. The selection of saki, beer and unique cocktails is very good. The ambience is excellent and the furnishings fit the mood and style of the cuisine.
I listed the price as "averge," read: "average for sushi." This place is a bit more expensive than, say, a burger joint. But on one occasion, myself and two friends split several sushi roles and all had cocktails, and each of us paid $20. Well worth it, in my opinion! There are specials for sushi, drinks or appetizers almost every night of the week, so call ahead if possible to get the scoop! Part of the Columbus, OH travel blog |
