Two Fish Divers Bunaken Reviews
Affordable Resort for Divers in Lembeh May 19, 2011
Lembeh is a great place for those of you who are interested in muck diving.
I was in one of the budget rooms you can find in the Diving Center, and it is more than enough if you do not need a luxury resort to expend some days in this island. Anyway the Resort offers all kind of accommodation.
It offers some facilities like:
Book swap facility
Running water/showers with HOT water
Free coffee, tea and aqua drinking water
Restaurant that offers good food ( try not to be the last to get there of you will not have enough food !)
Internet access (extra charge)
Don't forget to charge your camera before diving because you are going to enjoy one of the most amazing dives you can have !

Amazing Dive Resort in Beautiful Bunaken Sep 10, 2010
Two Fish Divers is an extremely friendly and fun place to spend some time relaxing and diving in the incredible Bunaken Marine Park. I returned after an earlier trip here, but this time with a lot more time!
I spent two months doing a divemaster internship here at the islands only PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Dive Operation. I loved it and had a great time. The staff is really friendly and the dive guides are very experienced making your diving experience personal and memorable.
The resort has comfortable budget rooms (my home for the time) as well as some very nice cottages. Everything is full board and the food is plentiful and delicious with good variety incorporating local dishes and lots a fresh fruit and vegetables at all the meals.
Bunaken boasts some extraordinary wall diving and rich biodiversity in fish and coral. The diving is awesome and always in small groups of four or less per dive guide and the dive boats never crowded. In addition to seeing sharks, turtles, eagle rays, ribbon eels, frog fish, pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs and ghost pipe fish diving, we even snorkelled with dugongs and dolphins! Everyday you have the opportunity to go on a dusk dive to see Mandarin fish mating or a night dive where you can see sponge crabs, marble shrimp, slipper lobster, decorator crabs and loads more critters that come out at night. And best of all the closest dive site is 40 meters away and the boats will go out if even only one person wants to dive!
Two Fish is also the only dive center in Bunaken to offer Nitrox and Technical diving, as well as every course from Open Water to Instructor and Tech. My instructor, Brendon, offers intro tech dives, which I really enjoyed, and does weekly Shark Guardian presentations focusing on shark conservation and collecting petition signatures for shark protection (www.sharkguardian.org). Other evenings may have a Fish ID competition or an interesting presentation on coelacanths, which have been found in this area.
Evenings here are best spent chatting with the other guests as well as the dive guides, instructors and owners about the days diving while enjoying a beer at the Cafe on the waters edge. I also enjoyed walking to the small villages and other beaches on this island, which is friendly, laid back and does not even have a car.
The owners Nigel and Tina have been here now for 11 years on Bunaken and are extremely knowledgeable and helpful about everything concerning this area. They really made our stay enjoyable, especially when Tina baked a homemade chocolate cake for my girlfriend on her birthday. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be back soon myself!
