Turtle River Park Ocho Rios Reviews
A relaxing place in the city centre Apr 27, 2011
The Turtle River Park is a small breathing hole in an otherwise quite busy and active city. The park situated in the tourist perimeter of town close to Turtle Beach, Downtown Ocho Rios. The park has been establish close to the cruise ships dock, and is an area where you don't meet that many local Jamaicans.
It is a nicely kept park with some really nice trees and paths which you can enjoy, when you need to escape the hassle of walking around the real Ocho Rios city centre. Ocho Rios is a really busy town and therefore walking here seems like being in a completely different place.
The park is kept by an armada of workers and it is therefore looking its best almost all the time. It is truly a place where you can take your book and relax or maybe plan your next scenic spot in Jamaica.
In the middle of the park you have a little lake with Koi carps; some which are really huge.
