Extreme Engineering - The Turning Torso Mar 12, 2007
The "Turning Torso" is a private residence, but is the largest building in Sweden and an engineering marvel that twists or turns as it rises which makes for a great photo opportunity. Public access is only allowed entrance to the top floor only during the summer for a few weeks at a time, so you're most likely just going to get the outside view. Opened in August 2005, this unique engineering feet was once featured on the Discovery Channel's "Extreme Engineering". The Turning Torso is 190 metres (623 feet) high with 54 stories and was based on a Santiago Calatrava sculpture called "Twisting Torso".

I wonder what its like inside... The lack of perfectly straight square or rectangular windows would make me go nuts or at the very least in need of a neck brace :P
