Turkish Airlines CIP Lounge Istanbul Reviews
Great Lounge but also very crowded Dec 26, 2013
I have the luck of holding a Star Alliance gold card, and I am able to get into the Turkish Airlines CIP Lounge, which opened 17.03.2013 after renovation and expansion work, which was started because of high demand. The lounge is really nice but it is also one of the most crowded lounges that I have been in. It is too busy to my taste but the offering in there is quite awesome.
The 3.000m2 lounge, which is located in the International Departures area is capable of holding 2.000 passengers a day and offers an extensive menu of hot and cold dishes. There are private relaxation rooms, showers with special toiletry kits. You can enjoy television on a huge wall area with lounge chairs. The Lounge also includes a billiard hall, which by the way is alway occupied by kids, library and a business center complete with all necessary technical equipment including WLAN Internet.
I think that the best thing in there is the different kinds of foods and desserts, you also have all kinds of snacks to choose from. The wifi is not the best but it works okay for checking mails and stuff.
