Turkey is quite safe
Turkey is quite safe Reviews

I felt quite safe in Turkey even when I was alone. I was pick-pocketed in Istanbul, but that could happen in any big city. The busy markets and any other place where you see lots of tourists are the most likely places for pickpockets to be working. Violent crimes, mugging and so forth, are exceptionally rare in Turkey, like most other Muslim countries. In Istanbul you should be wary of getting conned into a pub scam late at night (some men are tempted into going to the pub with strangers and end up being forced to pay an enormous inflated bill at the end) and for women be ready to ignore men clicking their tongues at you (but not so much in Istanbul, which is quite cosmopolitan).

cheek kissing; it’s done by everyone, everywhere (the only exception being devo…… (in Borat voice) "Hello" |
